Public Involvement and Visioning
"Representative Democracy, on its own, is never good governance. It needs to be combined with Participative Democracy, where people work collaboratively together to ensure proper management of issues that directly affect their daily lives." Tim Muirhead, Weaving Tapestries

What We Do
We will support you in engaging key stakeholders – local residents, staff members, key agencies, community groups, service users, politicians etc – in establishing and agreeing on their vision for their world and/or engaging in planning and decision making processes or activities that affect their lives or their work.

Examples of Our Work
- Work with City of South Perth and diverse stakeholders (local residents, shopkeepers, Moorditch Keila Aboriginal Corporation, Government agencies and many others) in developing masterplan for Manning Hub and Community Centre).
- We have assisted local governments (most recently City of South Perth, City of Nedlands, and City of Subiaco) in developing long term visions for their communities in partnership with thousands of residents and stakeholders.
- We assisted the Health Dept in a major consultation of Nyoongar communities in Perth’s South Metro Region, to determine health needs and establish Aboriginal Advisory Groups.
Partners
We often work in partnership with trusted allies whose skills and experience complement our own. In our public involvement and visioning strategies we have worked with:
